Great Falls, MT — Vision Net, a Montana-based telecommunications solution provider, announced today it was selected by Associated Construction Engineering (ACE) as its primary Internet Service (ISP) and Wide Area Network (WAN) provider. Vision Net will provide ACE with a superior IT experience, delivering greater bandwidth and performance between ACE’s multi-state office locations.
ACE embarked on the search for a new IT provider to address specific challenges including redundant hardware and excessive costs. The engineering firm initially implemented its centralized data network system more than 10 years ago, but it included excessive hardware that required costly licensing upgrades each year on top of equally expensive machine upgrades every four to five years. ACE partnered with Vision Net for its ability to solve ACE’s ongoing problems with a costs-saving plan.
Vision Net connected all six company locations—Billings, Belgrade, Helena, and Missoula, MT; Minot, ND; and Sheridan, WY—for network continuity and ease of use while also enhancing ACE’s network performance. Additionally, ACE is tapping Vision View, Vision Net’s next-generation customer facing portal, to simplify the performance metrics display at each location and provide a convenient way for customers to interact with Vision Net’s 24/7 network operations center.
ACE IT/IS Manager Christopher Rumph noted that the switch to Vision Net was seamless. “The Vision Net team provided a cutting-edge solution in an incredibly transparent, timely and detailed manner,” Rumph said. “They not only improved our network, they’ve enabled us to reduce costs, which was a key consideration from the outset.”
Vision Net CEO Corey Jensen said he’s incredibly proud to have been selected by ACE. “ACE is a best-in-class company with a reputation for taking on large and complex mechanical and electrical engineering jobs,” he said. “ACE’s network is critical to their ability to produce the complicated construction documentation required by their clients. We’re honored that they’ve entrusted Vision Net as their sole network provider.”
