June 12, 2017, Great Falls, Montana – The board of directors of Vision Net, Inc. announced today that Corey Jensen has been appointed president and chief executive officer. Jensen brings more than 26 years of telecommunications experience to the position, including 16 years at Vision Net, where he most recently served as executive vice president. He replaces Rob Ferris, who is retiring after 11 years with the company.
In his new role, Jensen will assume day-to-day leadership of the Montana-based telecommunication solutions company, managing overall operations and resources, as well as providing corporate leadership and expertise across all service offerings.
Board chairman, Randy Wilson, said he’s pleased to welcome Jensen to the executive suite. “Corey brings deep industry experience, a dynamic work ethic and a forward-leaning vision that will prove essential as the company continues to grow and adapt to the rapidly changing telecommunications landscape,” he said.
Jensen said he’s honored to assume the role at Vision Net. “Vision Net has made a name for itself regionally and nationally as a leader in delivering telecommunication solutions across the business spectrum,” he said. “I’m honored to have been selected by the board and look forward to playing a role in the company’s continued growth.”
In addition to his role at Vision Net, Jensen presently serves as acting president on the board of directors of INDATEL, a consortium of state and regional fiber networks. Prior to joining Vision Net, he was general manager at Montana Advanced Information Network (MAIN). Jensen is married with two children and holds a bachelor of science degree from Montana State University.
